Filling the hole in your life

I found a quote that I want to remember. From Goethe:

It is the nature of grace always to fill spaces that have been empty.

I heard it in the context of grief and loss. We must be with the empty feeling of loss and grief without trying to fill it with food, shopping, drinking, drugs, talking, traveling, or other distractions. If we leave the space, then grace or God will fill that space with something that nourishes our soul.

Emotion Code and New Baby

The first week of Dec, a friend told me today she was pregnant, about 2 months along and when she went to the Dr for a first visit and ultra sound, she was told that the baby was too small and the heart beat was much too slow. There was about a 50/50 chance for this baby to keep growing to birth. And possibly a miscarriage would occur.

Welcome all thoughts and feelings

The Guest House

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice.
meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.

Be grateful for whatever comes.
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

— Rumi,

Emotion Code success

I was chatting with my friend who lives near a large theme park. She was scheduled to take a group of teens to the park in a few minutes after our conversation and because of some teen girl drama she felt alot of pressure and tension in her head. We cleared out just one trapped emotion of disgust and the pressure left and she felt calm. The trip to the park should be much more enjoyable for everyone. No headache, no drugs. I love the Emotion Code.

Metaphor – Economics and spiritual practice

Earthly economics are very efficient. A baby only takes up enough space in mom’s womb to grow properly and not much extra. When one mails a package, one uses only the size of box needed to ship the item and not much extra, for that would be a waste of space and money. A growing seed only displaces the amount of dirt needed to push thru the soil. There are many examples of this good economy but yes sometimes man’s conscious choices are wasteful.

Emotion Code: Choose your own cleaning equipment

I’m still pondering this question and how to work with the metaphor, so this post might raise more questions than it answers.

Sometimes when working with other energy medicine practitioners, even those certified in the Emotion Code, we all come up with a little bit different answers to the underlying issue, or we find them in a different order. Does this mean that someone is wrong?

In my opinion, no. The goal of any kind of medicine is to return the client to the memory of the perfect wholeness of her own body. Another goal for me is to constantly be cleaning up the collective energy field, emotional field and thought field in which our whole world plays. Each practitioner chooses his or her own tools for cleaning.

Metaphor – wrong number

Last Sunday the phone rang as we were getting ready for church. It turned out to be a wrong number. The woman on the other end waited long enough to get the information on how she had misdialed before she hung up.

Emotion Code success

Sometimes I will report on the outcomes of an emotion code session. Some of these will be current events, and some from the past. The names are not real, but the story is. I don’t always know how things turn out after time passes, so its fun to find out.

Carla is a happy positive woman in her 80’s. She left the southeast US under poor circumstances and moved to the west. She suffers from painful arthritis in her knees. Since moving west, she has felt slowly better and better, but the progress is slow. The day I met with her, the knee pain was a 9 when walking but 0 when she was sitting. Her fear was of falling or of walking and always having to have something to hang onto.

She had a despair anchor which she didn’t care to share out loud but that wasn’t necessary to clear it out. She only had to think of the despairing statement in her mind. Then she had a heart wall with an inherited emotion. That’s about all we covered in the few minutes I saw her. There was no change in the amount of pain when I left her.

One week later, I saw her again and she was with a group of friends and bragging how there was only slight pain in one knee. She had been walking more and feeling much better. I did not find out what day this occurred, and of course I realize that there might be other factors involved, but it was wonderful to hear and if the Body Code was a help – I’m very thankful.
